Ardennes Coticules is a Belgian company that has been producing high-quality natural sharpening stones for over 150 years. Located in the heart of the Ardennes region, the company has a long tradition of extracting and processing the finest coticules, a type of hard, fine-grained sandstone that is renowned for its ability to sharpen blades to a razor-sharp edge.

Coticules are unique in that they contain a high concentration of garnet, a naturally abrasive mineral that is exceptionally effective at honing and polishing blade edges.
