Traditionally Hand-Forged Blade
The Serbian knife is made from high-carbon steel consisting of a single layer. Our Serbian knife is hand-forged and heat treated by our experienced blacksmiths following century old traditions. The diligent manufacturing process results in a Rockwell hardness between 58 and 60 HRC. High-quality material combined with the hand-forged manufacturing makes the Serbian knife particularly durable and long-lasting.
Durable Handle
The handle is made of pakkawood. Pakkawood is among the most exquisite woods for knife handles, thanks to its high density and water-resistancy. The high-quality blade and handle are the perfect balance between rigidity and toughness, making our Serbian knife more resistant, sharp and durable. No more soft edges or broken tips!
Usage
Thanks to its thin blade of only 3 mm (0.12 inch), the Serbian knife lets you cut effortlessly and precisely through almost everything. Whether you’d like to quickly chop a bunch of onions and tomatoes, or slice a chicken breast for a BBQ with friends: the Serbian knife will do the task effortlessly. With a weight of 350 g (0.77 lbs), it’s slightly heavier than most other knives in our collection. Inspired by the popular AlmazanKitchen knife, our Serbian knife is the ultimate eyecatcher.

This is an impressive knife of good quality. Sharp, for sure.
I own several knives of high quality. So, in comparision to other knifes of the same price, like good (japanese) Sandokus, these knives are much easier to handle, also sharp and inoxydable.
This knive is not so outstanding in the kitchen (except the look), that I would have given the non-reduced price for it.

Every 15$ or € knife, I own is better. The Serbian came with a dull blade. Ok, disapointing, but after sharpening I though, it would be ok. The 3rd onion was impossible to cut. For nearly 100 €/$ you get better knifes. Really! Think twice!

I was very supprised that with a knife this big and heavy duty I was able to cut see-through slices of onions and garlic, as well as big lumps of beef with the same ease. It took a while to adjust my cutting technique compared to the regular shaped chef knife I was using before. After that I have hardly touched my regular chef knife.
I cater outdoor events cooking on open fire using mostly cast iron skillets and Dutch Ovens, the look of this knife fits perfectly in that picture.
Smashing garlic cloves into paste, stirring, pulverizing seeds or tenderizing meat can al be done with this knife.
Just love it, great product, great service, well worth the money.

I use it to cut, chop and slice produce, meats and my finger (the knife is no joke). Super sharp and the weight of the knife does most the cutting for you. Afterwards a mild wash/rinse, dry then oil, I put it right back into the sheath. I want the carbon iron to maintain its original look and avoid any rust issues in the future.

I was quite surprised that a shipping from the Netherlands to Germany took roughly 2 weeks. You can find in the www a lot of offers with a price tag less than 20 €, but I hope, they are coming from a different production process.

Because it’s made from carbon steel, the knife isn’t such hard. That’s a benefit for the sharpness but on the other hand you should be prepared to sharpen it from time to time (that’s the con of such steel). Also carbon steel wants to have a little bit oil after usage to prevent rust.
In a nut shell: A great knife for a very fair price.
