The Masutani Western Sairyu Santoku is a stunning, hand forged super-sharp chef knife. Suitable for any kitchen, domestic or professional – a must-have all-purpose knife! Beautifully balanced for preparing sushi, sashimi, meat, veggies, etc.

This great santoku knife is hand forged in the traditional way with a super-sharp blade. The blade of this knife can be compared to global famous brands, but at a much more attractive price. It is made from stain resistant VG10 steel, which is hardened to HRC 60-62 (Rockwell scale). The total length of the knife is 290 mm (11.5″) with a blade length of 170mm (6.7″). The height of the blade at the heel is 45mm (1.8″). Knife weighs 142 gram (5 oz+) and has a typical balance point around the first finger on top of the handle, which allows for excellent agility when cutting without sacrificing control or power. You will enjoy using this knife!
