Description
This hand-forged pattern welded paring knife is the little brother to our proven bestseller, the pattern welded chef’s knife, and the perfect knife for cutting, chopping and slicing fruits and vegetables. This knife is extremely well balanced and cuts with hardly any effort.
Traditionally Hand-Forged Blade
The pattern welded paring knife is made of high-carbon steel consisting of a single layer. Our pattern welded paring knife is hand-forged and heat-treated by our experienced blacksmiths. This knife is much sharper than a traditional stainless steel knife and it is easier to sharpen. The diligent manufacturing process results in a Rockwell hardness of 61 HRC.
Durable Handle
The handle is made of premium rosewood, giving it a strong and natural look. Rosewood is like pakkawood an exquisite wood for knife handles, thanks to its high density and water-resistancy. The high-quality blade and handle are the perfect balance between rigidity and toughness, making our pattern welded paring knife resistant, sharp and durable. Furthermore, it lays very comfortably in your hand.
Usage
Thanks to its thin blade of only 2.5 mm (0.10 inch), the pattern welded paring knife lets you cut effortlessly and precisely through all your fruits and vegetables. Whether you would like to quickly chop a bunch of onions and tomatoes or cut your daily apple into small pieces: the pattern welded paring knife will do the task effortlessly. With a blade length of 9.5 cm (3.7 inch) and a blade width of 3.1 cm (1.2 inch), the knife is very handy and comfortable.
