Proper care and maintenance of your high carbon knife is crucial in preventing rust and prolonging its lifespan.
- It is recommended to wash the blade with warm water and dry it thoroughly after each use.
- Do not clean your knife in the dishwasher.
- Avoid cutting frozen products or bones.
- Store your knife in a dry place and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture.
- Apply a small amount of food-safe oil to the blade to protect it from moisture, wiping away any excess before each use.

Dear Damas team,
when I track my tracking number JVGL4004709800001215 for my order #’55058, I get the response that the delivery was sucessful at 18:15h at the 24th of July (Zustellung erfolgreich, Unterschrift erfolgte durch Zusteller, see attached png file) and that the delivery person (not me) undersigned this. Of course, I was at home at 18:15h and nobody tried to contact me and get my signature. I also did not get the delivery and I did not get any message in my post box where the parcel might be.
DHL recently introduced something like “contact-free” delivery where the delivery person sometimes not even rings but leaves a message where he put the parcel. But this did not happen with me. I already had two other contact free deliveries with DHL in the last half year that unfortunately also were free of delivered goods.
Could you as sender contact DHL for a Nachverfolgung and tell them what happened. I cannot do it as receiver. Somebody should ask the delivery person where the parcel might be.
I will retrieve my payment for the nondelivered knives in 2 weeks from paypal, if DHL still has not delivered the goods or sent them back to you
thank you, I am very satified with your knives that were sucessfully delivered on a different earlier order some months ago. I also recommended you to friends.
best regards,
Manfred Kössl
